Creating smooth paths

I am trying to create a curved line in PS 7 using my pen tool. When I
fill it in with a color and view the actual pixels, the edges are
jagged. How can I make them smooth . . . and not blurry?
Thanks,
Zoe

Re: creating smooth paths

I am using this image for print. I am learning that I really need to
expand my knowledge of Illustrator. I love Photoshop . . . I wish that
I could do everything it it but, I am doing some minor graphic design
work for a friend and thus, realizing I need to pick up some books!
Thanks for the help.

A Photoshop picture is made of pixels--little squares of color. You can
never get a perfectly smooth curve with pixels; can't be done.
What are you using this image for? Web? Print?

@b28g2000cwb.googlegroups.com:
Use illustrator, not photoshop which is primarilly an app to deal with
raster images hense the woolyness
