Sunpak 444D dedicated module

I have a Sunpak 444D with the OT-1D module which works very
nicely with my Oly OM-2n. I'd like to get a PT-2D (or PT-1D)
Pentax module to use with my new ZX-5. Now this may sound very
stupid, but I cannot yank out the OT-1D module! I tried hard,
but it does not budge. Am I missing something or I just need
to pull harder? I don't want to ruin the flash.
Thanks in advance,
Pinaki.

Re: Sunpak 444D dedicated module

I have the same flash and a pt-2d as well, and actually did yank off the
original one time to put the pt-2d on it, luckily enough it didn't do any
damage. But I am glad for the reminder in your thread here, because I
just bought a ne-2d module (Nikon). Else I woulda forgotten!

JD,
How can I ever thank you enough! Yes, it did the trick. Thank
you so much for saving my flash.

Re: Sunpak 444D dedicated module

Don't pull harder.
Open the battery compartment door. Should see a metal tab on the
non-hinged side of the door. Slide it outward and the module should
free up. I am basing this on a Lester-Dine flash which uses a Sunpak
system, and in my setup is using a OT-1D module.
