Hi,
I've gotten some graphic .PNG files recently. Would somebody please
tell me the advantages or disadvantages of this file system?

Advantage, high quality images plus transparency (unlike jpg).
Disadvantage, not supported by all browsers, specifically Internet
Explorer.
