LOOKING FOR A PHOTO CLASS IN NJ

Im looking for a beginners photo class in NJ, I have a digital and a
great manual 35 mm camera, however, I would like to learn some
technique for taking great photography. I live in Northern NJ and am
just looking for some sort of evening class, degree or non-degree.
Anyone know of any?

If you're near NYC, you should check out www.icp.edu.

You really should look into New York Institute of Photography. It is a
course that you can finish in as little as 6 months but can take up to
3 years to finish. When you are done you get a really nice
certificate. I took the course and learned tons of stuff!! It is an
awesome course. They send you your books, there are 6 units (if I
recall correctly). You take the tests at the end of each unit and send
to your instructor along with pictures that they tell you to take
according to each unit. Your instructor sends the pictures back to you
with a tape telling you how you did and what could make them better.
It is a really informative class. I now have my own studio. Go to
their website: www.nyip.com
Hope this helps and good luck!

Re: LOOKING FOR A PHOTO CLASS IN NJ

You don't say where in NJ, but check with the local community college.
Here in NC, there's one in every county and they have what are called
continuing ed courses, i.e. 1 night a week, couple of hours, 6 - 8
weeks, $50 - $100 plus materials.
Crafts, pottery, painting, dance, photography, music, computers ...
