Help, I need a battery pack, quick.

I have an Ikelite substrobe 100a and a Nikonos V. On my last dive the
battery pack for the substrobe *#%! out on me. I'm heading to Truk
lagoon in August and the battery pack is no longer available. Can
anyone suggest where I might locate one. I looked on the web, went to
my local photography stores, and no place has them. Help me.

He should call a rebuilder is anycase. Plainview batteries
(http://www.devicelink.com/company/mem/co/02/241.html) did at one time
rebuild packs. SANYO are the best Nicads around but are hard to get for
rebuilds.
I suggest calling, they will know whats best. And with fedex, turn around
times are fantastic.

You took the words right out of my mouth....I was going to suggest to him
that he just build a battery pack from scratch, from parts purchased in most
any electronics store....Even Radio Shack could probably supply those
parts....I built one for my F5 out of 2 volt gell-cells....I used only 5 of
them so as not to overdrive the camera electronics......

A suggestion would be to take it to one of your local battery/electronics
shops and have them sell you some new rechargeable batteries so you can
repack that unit. The unit is probably very simple and straightforward. If
you're comfortable with a soldering iron you have a 10-minute project.
Doing it this way will guarantee that you get long battery life when you
need it. There's no sense in buying a used pack.

you buy from someone dependable.
