Photomerge question

Hi all,
When I select a number of images (say for example 6) to import into
photomerge (CS2), the 6 images are displayed at the top of the screen except
that image 6 is shown at the beginning of the sequence..i.e. 6,1,2,3,4,5. I
know that this can be corrected manually but am puzzled by this phenomena.
Any ideas why?

I think it's a Windows bug. If you select 6 FIRST then Shift-Click on 1
(thereby selecting all six files) I bet it will work OK.
The same thing happens in Winamp and other music players.
