Re: Minolta SRT 101 Thanks It's an excellent camera, but with its age, there will be some problems with it, mostly the CDS cells and glue holding them in the prism, light seals, and the typical mechanical parts. There are a lot of excellent on-line resources about the camera, including a Minotla forum (all types) on Photo.net, two Yahoo groups, and several Web sites, such as: http://members.aol.com/manualminolta/srt101.htm http://www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/index-frameset.html?MinoltaSRT101.html~mainFrame The advance lever tip was often the first part to break, but a good shop usually has a bunch to cannibalize for parts. The other problem is batteries, which only runs the light meter, and it can operate without one if you want. There are several options to replacing the old mercury battery. Good luck with it. I still keep my first camera, a circa-1969 SRT-101 and a later SRT-303 working. Wsrphoto
