I've often wondered about the VR lenses. I'm a new Nikon user, so I'm
learning things as I go along, and this newsgroup has been a Godsend
for me. I have the Micro 60mm f2.8 D lens and it is AMAZING. Thanks
for giving us your personal opinion of the other Micro lens. Keep up
the great work! =20

Re: Jeremiah Loves The 105mm VR

Thanks Helen. I had all but forgotten what I had put up on that page since
it's been so long. I really need to get that updated and looking a bit
better. Ah, when time permits. I ordered an adapter ring so that I can use
my 77mm filters with this lens. I'll have to see if I can get a better frog
pic with it this weekend. Ultimately, I'll probably give the 105mmVR to my
son and go back to using the old 105. The 105mm VR is a nice lens, but
didn't make any earth shattering improvements to warrant replacing the older
model.

Re: Jeremiah Loves The 105mm VR

Very nice Rita. My favorite is the pic of the goose. ( I clicked on
your "home" link).
The exposure is spot on. The lake looks so velvety smooth. The
goose's feathers are so fine grained. It's better than real life!
Excellent work.
