Is there software to do this?

I'm looking for MAC software that when I draw a flower for instance, it
will draw the same flower as I'm drawing it in different areas of the
page in symmetry patterns. I once had a program like this years ago,
but can't remember what it was called. I think the process is called
automatic drawing. Can anyone help? Would be much appreciated ;-).
