Re: Odd slides vs negatives question I think these are images from some kind of medical study, not pre-surgical photos. Rhinoplasy would include side views. And the images are all "before", with no indication of "after", especially if the last two images are the same person taken seven years apart. There's been no surgical intervention there. Based on the hairstyles, most of the images were taken mid to late 50s. The third image has 1961, which may be a date, but the other numbers don't appear to be dates - "261" & "661".
