Question about thoriated lens

Which are well-known lens that contain Thorium, detectable by a Geiger
counter? I would like to get one from eBay, however making sure that it has
detectable radioactivity (it is for an "element collection").

I believe the early Canon 35mm f2 with a Concave front element and "Chrome
Nose" does as well. I own one, but not a Geiger Counter.
You'll be able to differentiate these from other, non-thorium doped lenses
by the front element color - it's decidedly yellowish. Most use a light
blue filter to compensate. It's accepted that this version of the 35/2
Canon lens is one of the sharpest Canon lenses made.

The 6" and 12" f/2.5 Kodak Aero Ektars are well known examples, and can
be found cheap on eBay.

The majority of photographic lenses currently manufactured contain
significant amounts of Lanthanum, which is a major glass ingredient.

SMC Takumar 50mm f/1.4 (NOT the 1.7 or the 55mm f/2). Well-documented
yellowing because of Thorium. I have 5 of 'em and they're all yellowed.
The SMC Takumar 35mm f/2 is reputed to have Thorium, but mine is water
clear, so I can't confirm whether it has the rare earth element or not.

I believe this lens is radioactive, but the glass is made with Lanthanum, not
Thorium.
