Just keep in mind that *I* can eat what I like too, for whatever equally silly reasons I might choose. Why? I don't see a valid point. Lots of animals do a variety of really complex things that strike me as having unique beauty. Ever look into the social structure of an ant hill or a bee hive? Astounding! But that doesn't mean they should be protected species. Why? Do you have any reason for suggesting it is otherwise? I thought you said you'd been around pigs? They are *extremely* intelligent, and can do a lot more than any Humpback whale. The bottom line is that you *are* entitled to choose your own food using your own set of prejudices.
