Re: Back from Alaska

A camera with very little shuttle lag and a very large memory card.
Oh and a fairly long lens.

Re: Back from Alaska

A few years ago I went to Alaska. I tried and tried and tried and tried
to get a good picture of a whale, even a tail flip. I was never fast
enough to get it. What was your secret?
Thanks for the pics.

Re: Back from Alaska

Thanks for the look at your photos! My wife and I are heading on a
similar cruise at the end of June, our second. I took a point and
shoot film camera on our first cruise (left my SLR home), regretted not
having something better. Now I have a Rebel XT like you used, along
with the kit lens and my 100-300mm zoom, so I hope to be able to
capture some equal scenes!

Great images.....I liked #0439, but it's too bad there wasn't a rat on the
line......

Nice, I love the eagle and the seals on ice. Watching whales that close must
be a rush.
Where are the bears? :)
Good Job!!
