PORTRAIT TIPS FROM THE 20D !

Http://www.pbase.com/image/60901438
1. Always focus on the eyes.
(This is sometimes difficult to do when the subject has more than two
of them.)
2. Try to get a catchlight in the eyes.
(Same caveat as rule #1).
3. Always try for an uncluttered background.
(A leaf sometimes works nicely).
4. Tell your subject to be still and not wave at the camera.
(OK, I didn't do so hot on this one.)

@i39g2000cwa.googlegroups.com:
For some reason, I feel very small. I feel fight or flight syndrome coming
on. :)
Must be how the poor little guy felt in your unseen pic.
If you guys are growin bugs that big down there, keep 'em at home please,
the huge mantis/grass hopper looks dangrous (and hungry).
