Re: Backflopping I resent people who own pools. I was annoyed when you said you
had a picture of you jumping into your pool. All I could think was,
"Your pool? Who the hell are you to own your own pool?"
Actually, I love swimming pools. But even if I hit the lottery
tomorrow I wouldn't buy one. I'd simply find a hotel with a nice pool
and pay the owners to reserve it for my private use. I'd tell him,
"Look Bob, we'll be coming over at noon tomorrow, so I'd appreciate it
if you have the guests cleared out by 11, if you don't mind." That's
the way we civilized people do it. We don't go around cruelly
flaunting our ownership in other people's faces. That's my new motto:
"Don't be cruel, rent your pool."
