Copyright Icon - How To Do?

I do not know how to make the copyright icon and place it on a photo
in Photoshop. I realize it is probably a very simple task, but it
escapes my search for the way to do it.
Thanks ,
Will

©
Option-G on a Mac. None of this alt-numeric-four-digit-number junk.

Re: Thanks

you will find it's not as easily edited as when you have it in-line with the

Thanks

Thanks to all who answered. I did find the custom shape tool the easiest
to use.

Re: Copyright Icon - How To Do?

I often can't remember the alt code for different symbols, but I've
been able to open an MS Word doc or a web page with the symbol and
copy/paste into a PS doc on both Mac and Windows platforms. Seems to
work for me every time. :o)

Re: Copyright Icon - How To Do?

If you click on the Custom Shape tool, there should be a Copyright shape in
the dropdown list on the Properties bar. Or you could load them with the
rightarrow. This seems a lot easier plus it's still editable.

Or just type charmap into the run dialogue.
